The magical fireworks
I was learning about a poem about fireworks because we were learning about onomatopoeia and adding detail to our writing. We were using whaiwhakaaro and making connections to what we know about fireworks. it was easy to do this because I have done it before with my family.
Te Whare Tapa Wha
I was learning about how to keeps your house up and how do you relax. My learning asset was whaiwhakaaro, I had to think about explaining my thinking. I did this by finding images that kept the four walls of my whare connected and strong. I found the Taha Wairua the most challenging to find images for.

Then & Now
I was researching about Then & Now. Then & Now is like in the old day went you didn't have the things that we have now.
I asked questions of our expert Mrs Leggett to find out what it was like in the past when she was a child. This helped me to compare my life to hers.
I found it easy to write my ideas and find the pictures to go with them. I used Mote to record my readings because I had short sentences. This is how I used my communicator assets.
I am able to show kaiwhakarite because I finished my learning and was able to help others.
I did this task because I was interested in the topic and it was fun finding out about the past and making the presentation to share my ideas.
I found it fun to share my ideas buy writing and showing my learning.

Early Life in NZ for whalers
We were learning about the whalers who killed the Humpback sperm and southern right whalers.
i found it easy to pot my ideas on my peast.
it was hard to correct my learning and my spelling words because it was complicated.
next time I will correct my learning.
